Celebrating Fall at The Ritz-Carlton Harvest Fest

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, California Fall was in the air today at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe as the hotel hosted their annual Harvest Fest. Hotel guests and local Tahoe families gathered in The Ritz-Carlton backyard to enjoy the Fall festivities and to take advantage of the ideal autumn weather. Many children came dressed in their Halloween costumes, and a few of the hotel staff members also dressed in costume and helped escort the children through the activities. The kids picked out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and then painted them using a variety of paint colors and designs. They also made candy apples from scratch, choosing from a huge selection of enticing candy toppings. It was great to see the proud looks on the kids’ faces after they finished creating their own pumpkins and their excitement as they prepared to eat their custom candy apples. In addition to the pumpkins and candy apples, kids had a blast playing with the many games and toys set up throughout the backyard. Many families also enjoyed the delicious food of The Backyard Bar & BBQ while listening to the live music of a talented guitar player. I have no doubt that the families who attended today’s event plan to mark their calendars for next year’s Harvest Fest. It’s a great celebration of the Fall season and a perfect warmup for Halloween.
